A Few Tips if Planning a Visit to Quabbin Valley
Summer is a great time to head out and explore the area around Quabbin Valley and Reservoir. All vegetation is in full bloom (watch those allergies though!), wildlife is ever-present so basically the whole Quabbin area is bustling with activity.
If you are planning your first visit to the area, the best place to start is at the Visitor Center below the south end of the reservoir. Once familiarizing yourself with the many features present around the Quabbin Valley region, you can head out to explore the Windsor Dam, Goodnough Dike or any of the overlooks around the reservoir perimeter.
